Crowley Lane

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Crowley Lane Memorial Forest in Watersheddings, Oldham. This special place has been made possible by the generous support of Oldham Council, who have provided the land for this meaningful project.

The Crowley Lane Memorial Forest is designed to be a serene and beautiful space where loved ones can be honoured, and their lives celebrated. Our commitment extends beyond personal tributes, as we aim to enhance the natural environment.

Revitalising the Woodland: Life for a Life is actively working to restore the declining woodland, ensuring its vitality by restocking it with understory species such as Hazel and Hawthorn.

Wildflower Meadow: We are establishing and maintaining a wildflower meadow within the memorial forest. This meadow will offer a colourful, ever-changing landscape that supports local wildlife and enhances the forest's natural beauty.

Roadside parking is available for this memorial forest and can be accessed from both Crowley Lane or Counthill Road.

Life for a Life planting areas are natural environments where we encourage wildlife and plant life to flourish, as such additional items should not be added to the tree or the space around it, especially as they can cause damage to the tree.

Please be aware that any prohibited items left on, or around memorial trees will be removed.
