"Life for a Life" offers its clients the chance to celebrate or commemorate loved ones by planting memorial trees and scattering ashes in over fifty woodland locations across the United Kingdom. We offer both environmental and health benefits, providing beautiful woodlands for the community and making donations back to health related causes and charities.
We are now seeking four new Trustees to help us to grow the work of our charity across the UK. Our Trustees are hands on and not afraid to muck in both operationally and strategically. This is a voluntary role.
We are looking for people with passion and enthusiasm for the environment and the provision of services for those at a time of loss.
At this time, we are particularly seeking applications from those with experience of:
- Conveyancing and land / planning legalities
- Marketing and communications
- Forestry, conservation and the natural environment
- Grants, legacies, bid management
The Trustee Board meet quarterly for around 2 hours. Currently we are meeting via video conference. Trustees are also asked to assist with operational and strategic functions within their expertise and attend charity events.
