Description

This memorial forest marks the beginning of a wonderful partnership with the Diocese of Salford’s environmental project ‘Laudato Si’ in the grounds of the home of the Bishop of Salford, Wardley Hall.

As in the case of all of the “Life for a Life” Memorial Tree Planting Sites all are totally nondenominational.

The planting of trees in this area will be phased from left to right. The species available to plant will be English Oak, Silver Birch, Wild Cherry and Hawthorn.

There will also be a fruit orchard planted by local school children in partnership with the ‘Laudato Si Centre’ which will become a special feature of this lovely planting area.

There are toilets and ample spacious car parking facilities next to the building adjacent to the site at the entrance to the cemetery gates.
