Description

Opened on May 2008, this beautiful secluded and previously untouched site is a befitting place to remember a lost loved one or to celebrate that special occasion. The site is very easily accessed from Hazel Hall Lane, which runs off the B6214 main road which eventually leads to Higher Summerseat. Clients and visitors to the site should leave the nearby town of Bury by the main Bolton Road (A58) to pick up the B6214 to Ramsbottom through Brandlesholme.

From the meadow the western slopes of the Pennine Chain add to the splendour and peaceful aspects of what is popular community forest. On a clear day Peel Tower and the windmills on Scoutmoor can be seen from the forest.

The land has been graciously donated to Life for a Life by Dunsters Farm Products Ltd owned by the Ratcliffe family, who support many local and national charities.
